Dark and Stormy: Recipe & Instructions


Dark and Stormy
Created in Bermuda shortly after World War 1, this simple 2-part cocktail is made with aged dark rum (the 'dark') and ginger beer (the 'stormy'). As this is a trademarked cocktail, an authentic Dark and Stormy uses Bermuda's own Gosling's Black Seal Rum.

To make a Dark and Stormy you will need the following equipment:
  • Bar spoon

Ingredients
Gosling's Black Seal Rum (60ml / 2oz)
Ginger beer (100ml)​​
Garnish
Lime wedge​

Method:
​How to Make a Dark & Stormy​

  • 1. Fill a highball glass with ice
  • 2. Add the rum & top up with ginger beer
  • 3. Stir & serve with a lime wedge garnish
