World Rum Guide's Editor, Paul Jackson, is a rum expert and spirits writer, speaker, presenter and consultant, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the spirits, bar and events industries, as well as brand development and marketing. You can find Paul's thoughts on each gin review under the 'World Rum Guide Review' section.
You'll often find Paul hosting tastings, speaking at rum events, consulting for rum brands, producers and events, and developing rum offerings for bars, hotels and restaurants. The Tasting PanelThe World Rum Guide tasting panel tastes each gin to develop each review and its tasting notes and garnish recommendations. The panel consists of rum connoisseurs, rum experts and rum marketing experts. Rums are tasted neat, with a drop of water, with ice, and in a range of servings to gain the best overview and understanding of the flavours and servings.
