World Rum GuideWorld Rum Guide launched in 2017 as an independent organisation with the aim of enabling consumers to discover new rums, producers and ways to enjoy rum, and enabling rum producers to get their rum in more people's glasses, tell their stories and sell more bottles - all in support of the rum industry.

World Rum Guide's Editor, Paul Jackson, is a rum expert and spirits writer, speaker, presenter and consultant, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the spirits, bar and events industries, as well as brand development and marketing. You can find Paul's thoughts on each gin review under the 'World Rum Guide Review' section.

The Tasting PanelThe World Rum Guide tasting panel tastes each gin to develop each review and its tasting notes and garnish recommendations. The panel consists of rum connoisseurs, rum experts and rum marketing experts. Rums are tasted neat, with a drop of water, with ice, and in a range of servings to gain the best overview and understanding of the flavours and servings.
